World renowned conductor James Conlon has conducted virtually every major American and European symphony orchestra since his debut with the New York Philharmonic in 1974. He is currently the Music Director of the Los Angeles Opera. Conlon will lead the UT Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra and the Ravel orchestration of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.
