Talk it Out: Discussion on "The Eyes of Texas"

UT's Society of Professional Mediators will be hosting a semi-annual facilitated discussion, with this semester's topic on "The Eyes of Texas." This facilitated discussion serves to have mediated dialogue on thoughts and opinions for UT Austin's traditional alma mater with students, faculty, and staff.

What do you think about "The Eyes of Texas?"
What is the history behind the song?
What responsibility does the University of Texas at Austin have to this song?
What does tradition mean to you?

The goal of this non-partisan discussion is not to debate or protest, but simply to come together as a community to voice our concerns and ideas, to listen to others, and to explore our ability to work together. This is not a lecture or a program - all attendees will be invited to participate in the group conversation.

Come talk it out it with us on October 26, snacks and refreshments will be provided!
