Campus Events + Entertainment Creative Arts + Theatre is proud to present The 41st Annual Madrigal Dinner: All the World's A Stage. Enjoy an original, five-act, renaissance-style, dinner comedy play featuring a four-course meal, multi-part choir concert, and in-character improv breaks—all for the price of admission! The Madrigal Dinner will be held on the nights of November 10th, 11th, and 12th.

Play synopsis: Princess Emilene of Waddleton is a bride on the run. Her father has arranged a marriage between her and the prince of Tillydome, but she's in love with another man. After abandoning her groom at the altar, she flees the castle grounds and takes refuge among a rag-tag troupe of actors touring around the land of Madrigal. Will Emilene fulfill her royal duties or live the free life of a fugitive...or worse, a criminal? She has much to learn about loyalty, luck, and love. True love, to be exact!

Guests wishing to sit together should purchase tickets as a group. Please select your main course dinner option at time of purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: Guests with student tickets must present a current University of Texas at Austin student ID at the door. Should any ticket-holder not possess a valid student ID, the difference in price of a comparable non-student ticket must be paid prior to entry.

Madrigal Dinner Menu:

Meat entreé: Marinated Roasted Chicken 
Vegan entreé: Wheatberry stuffed portobello mushroom

The meal starts with bread and drinks, including wassail, followed by a seasonal salad of roasted butternut squash and red wine poached pears over mixed baby greens. Both entrees will be served with garlic smashed baby potatoes, seasonal roasted root vegetables, and and balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts. Dessert for the evening is currant and pecan bread pudding with Crème Anglaise. A cash bar will be available starting at 5:30pm each night. 

Please note that all of our sides are vegan and the majority of the menu is gluten friendly. Vegan and nut-free dessert options will be available on request.
