Danno Simpson was born in Dallas, TX, and raised on the high plains of Colorado. Growing up in a town where the local rodeo was the biggest event of the year, country music was a constant in his up-brining. Drawing his influence from Texas songwriting legends (Towns Van Zandt, Guy Clark & Willis Alan Ramsey) and the mountain music of the Rocky Mountains, Danno creates story-driven narratives that pay homage to the past while connecting with modern audiences.

His powerful voice, well-crafted songwriting, and versatility as a performer have placed Danno on stage with multiple national acts from a variety of genres. Danno was recently featured in a Whiskey Riff article as one of the “15 Country Artists That Should Be More Well Known Than They Are” (2022).
