The University of Texas Wind Symphony Presents "Borrowed"

Please join The University of Texas Wind Symphony in our final concert of the semester. Help us say farewell to our beloved conductor Dr. Robert Carnochan. The concert features Donald Hunsberger's magnificent transcription of Shostakovich's Festive Overture. John Corigliano's Elegy in a wonderful setting by Christopher Anderson will be conducted by DMA student Corey Pompey. Next, the concert will feature Irish Tune from County Derry and Shepherd's Hey which are two of Percy Grainger's most popular works. They will will be conducted by Assistant Director of the Longhorn Band Anthony C. Marinello. Finally, Dr. Carnochan will conduct the Wind Symphony for the final time as Music Director in a setting of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana transcribed by John Krance.
