The University Writing Center is hosting its first Graduate Writing Retreat of the Spring Semester on Sunday, January 25th 2026 from 10am-5pm. Please join us to get started on your course papers or make progress on your long-term writing projects! 
Our writing retreats are a great way to get out of the house, see some friendly faces, and get some writing done in a quiet, reduced-distraction environment. We provide:
•    Writing consultants for check-ins and mini-consultations throughout the day
•    A limited supply of bagels (first-come, first-served), coffee, tea, sparkling water, and some pre-packaged snacks. If you plan on staying more than a couple of hours, it would be a great idea to bring your own lunch! 
•    A quiet space to get some work done around other graduate writers hard at work!
