University Writing Center Graduate Writing Retreat

The University Writing Center is hosting an in-person Writing Retreat on December 2nd from 10am-5pm. Please join us to get ahead on your writing projects in a focused community of graduate student writers.  

You do not need to stay for the entire day. Registration is required.  

Our writing retreats are a great way to get out of the house, see some friendly faces, and make progress on your writing in a quiet, reduced distraction environment.  

Event details below:  

• Individually wrapped, pre-packaged snacks will be provided. If you plan on staying for more than a couple of hours, it'd be a great idea to bring a lunch with you.  

• Coffee and tea provided! Cream and sugar are available but limited. We also have a refrigerator and microwave.  

• You'll need to sign in upon arrival. There will be a QR code you can scan with your phone. You may also access the sign in form here.
