The University of Texas Press is now accepting applications for two paid publishing Fellowships for the 2015–2016 year, beginning September 1, 2015, and ending August 31, 2016, in two areas of concentration: Marketing and Editorial Production. The application deadline is Tuesday, March 31, 2015.

The Fellowship program is designed to give one year of intensive training in the above departments, with exposure to and instruction in the operations of the other departments. The objective of the program is to help prepare the Fellow for a career in book publishing, and, while the emphasis will be on scholarly publishing, much of the training will apply equally well to trade publishing. Applicants must indicate on their application which area they are applying for.

Eligibility and Requirements:

The University of Texas Press Publishing Fellowships are open only to alumni of the University of Texas at Austin. Applicants must have a degree in any field from the UT Austin and a strong desire to pursue a career in publishing.
