Children (ages 12-16) with a diagnosis along the autism spectrum are needed for an IRB approved dissertation research study to investigate the effect of visual aids (i.e. graphic organizers) and instructional prompting on reading comprehension.

Participating children will receive approximately 15-20 hours of reading instruction over the course of the fall semester, 2014, including pre-testing to assess their initial reading level.

Approximately seven children will participate in the study.  Participation is entirely voluntary.  Scheduling is flexible.  Each participant will be offered a gift certificate to an appropriate store or online store upon his/her successful completion of the study.
