About this Event
This webinar will present results of an Implementation Science Research (2020 to 2023) study conducted by the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India. Outcomes highlight facilitators and barriers influencing the implementation of the community-based Peer Education program — which is a central component of India's National Adolescent Health Strategy — and underscore the potential of peer educators in addressing the needs of adolescents and their communities. Insights from this research add new evidence to the global literature on adolescent health and provide solutions to strengthen the Peer Education program.
