Austin’s own C3 Presents, in collaboration with Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at The University of Texas at Austin, is proud to announce highly acclaimed British artist Bruce Munro’s Field of Light.

Illuminating 16 acres in the Texas Arboretum at the Wildflower Center, Field of Light is a stunning display of 28,000 vibrant solar-powered, fiber-optic light stems that showcase the intersection of art, technology, and nature. The installation unites with the outdoors, celebrating the natural topography of the landscape and creating an immersive and emotional experience for guests of all ages.

Please note that the Field of Light experience is an outdoors, self-guided walking tour. The trail is almost a mile and includes gravel and mulched pathways.

A portion of the proceeds benefit the Wildflower Center. Guests can enjoy the exhibit September through December 2022. Students and teachers can enjoy Field of Light for a special ticket price of $30 the first Thursday and Sunday of every month with a valid ID. Share this with a student or teacher who needs to know!
