I really enjoyed the lecture by Dr. Cole. It gave me some very good insight on how to not only listen to the client but how to listen to myself. I wouldn't be surprised if on day Dr. Cole is in the room with me and my client when I am utilizing his triangular concepts of listening in my practice. I'd like to thank Mrs. Fairbanks first and foremost for her perpetual gift of knowledge. I would also like to thank Dr. Cole for his frank and honest look into the mind of a psychoanalyst and of course, all the faculty of the UT School of Social Work that worked so diligently to facilitate this great event. I am proud to be a current student and look forward to many more Fairbanks Lectures. Thank you
